Important Dates

Registration april 22 - may 24

To register, send an email to liliam@fisica.unamn.mx titled 2nd Summer school with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Institution
  • Academic level student, professor or medical physicists

We will provide lunch to all registered participants and limited fellowship (housing for 6-night hotels) for students and clinical medical physicists who live outside of Mexico City

To apply for housing support, besides information above, please provide an institutional letter of support from your supervisor or head of the program.

Abstract Submission

If you are interested in submitting an abstract to the 2nd Summer School in Medical Physics 2019, please see the information below. Send your abstract to liliam@fisica.unam.mx with the subject: "Abstract for 2nd Summer school 2019"

Important deadlines

  • Abstract submission deadline: May 10th (10:00pm CST)
  • Notice for abstract corrections: May 17th
  • Corrected abstract resubmission: May 20th (10:00 CST)
  • Final notice of acceptance: May 22th

Abstract evaluation process

Abstracts received before May 10th (10pm CST) will be reviewed by faculty members. A week after the submission deadline (May 17), authors will be notified in case they need to improve their abstracts. Updated abstracts will have to be resubmitted within the next three days (deadline May 20th 10:00pm CST). Abstracts will be scored, and the best 16 will be selected for talks. Those who are not selected to give a talk will be invited to register to the summer school and present a poster in person. Authors will be notified about the final decision on May 22nd.
