Students at IFUNAM

One of the core activities of IFUNAM's researchers is the teaching and training of human resources.

Researchers usually teach physics courses at the Faculty of Sciences as well as in other schools and graduate programs at UNAM and other universities in the country. It is important to mention IFUNAM's intense participation in the Graduate Physical Sciences and Materials Sciences programs at UNAM.

The Institute has about 200 undergraduate and graduate students working towards their degree, supervised by researchers of IFUNAM. The background of our students is broad as they come from different fields such as physics, medicine, chemistry, mathematics and engineering.

Students at IFUNAM have access to state of the art laboratories, computer rooms, machine shop and to the best Physics library in Latin America.

For more information contact the head of the student's office Professor Jorge Alejandro Reyes Esqueda (cd-if@fisica.unam.mx) or directly at the coordination's office, Main Building, 2nd. Floor, 5622-5108 (office hours from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm).
