Dear Dr. Michaelian,
Thank you for sending YellowTimes your article entitled, The Dragon and its
Shadow on 12/13/02. The article was worthy of being printed except
for the
fact that we felt it was a little too long and encompassing. If you
care to
send us another article, try to make it about two pages and hammer out a
single theme which revolves around fewer points. Some of us felt that
your
solution of trying to ^Ñhurt^Ò the warmongers by boycotting
their products was
not feasible--something like giving up motorized transportation and then
being
unable to get to work to earn a living.
Now if the state of Mexico were to stand up and be counted against the US
and
its government, this would be a much more effective solution.
Freelance writing contributions are always welcome but they need to compete
for available space with not only the YT staff writers but also the dozens
of
other ^Ñguest writer^Ò contributions which arrive daily.
We appreciate all submissions of articles here at YellowTimes and thank you
for your continued interest in what is published at YellowTimes.

Reply to Walter Brewster,
Dear Walter,
Thank you for considering my article for publication. I will take
up most of your advice.
However, I must disagree on one point. The Bush administration is more
concerned about
the movement on Wall Street than the mass anti-war movements in the streets
or the human
shields. A protest such as changing ones investments temporarily from American
to, say,
Asian investments, will, in my opinion, have a much more profound effect
on stopping the
war than street demonstrations. So what if we have to go to work on a
bicycle for a few days?
It is a sacrifice (or a luxury) that may well be worth the cost.
Sincerely, Dr. K. Michaelian.
