11th International Conference on Particle-induced X-Ray Emission and its Analytical Applications

25-29 May 2007, Puebla, Mexico.

Traveling to/from Puebla

The recommended way to travel to Puebla is flying to Mexico City’s airport, connected to all continents, either directly or through flights from Canada, the United States of America, South America, and Europe. The airport is served by most major airlines. There is a bus line running from the airport to Puebla, taking about 90 minutes. There are departures every 30 minutes, and tickets are purchased at a booth in the airport, at an approximate cost of US$15.00. It is expected to have Conference personnel guiding all attendants arriving in Mexico City to the bus terminal at the airport, if they provide information about their flights. Buses arrive to Central de Autobuses de Puebla (CAPU), where official taxis are the suggested transport to the hotels. There is also a small airport in Puebla, but flight schedules are very limited.

Traveling Around

We also recommend traveling before or after the conference to other areas near Puebla:

  • Mexico City (2 hrs)
  • Oaxaca (3 hrs)
  • Veracruz (3 hrs)
