The meeting is scheduled to start Tuesday Dec.10, 2024 in the morning and finish Friday Dec.13 in the afternoon.

We wish you a fruitful meeting, with rich exchanges and significant steps forward in your current research projects. Hopefully you will have time to enjoy your stay at the Hotel Iberostar mixing with DESI attendees to further discuss science projects and bringing the whole collaboration together, while enjoying the beautiful location setting.
You can also take advantage of the wonderful geographical location to do some snorkeling or scuba diving at the local reefs or visit the beautiful Mayan ruins such as Tulum, Coba or Chichen Itza, which are all relatively close by. Do not miss to visit some of the many "Cenotes", which are natural sinkholes created by the impact of the meteorite that hit the earth about 65 million years ago killing all dinosaurs. In some of these Cenotes you can actually swim.
