Funtions

  • Planning, organizing, conducting and overseeing all matters concerning the human, material and financial resources of the Institute.
  • Assisting in drafting the annual budget of the Institute.
  • Organizing, conducting, overseeing and recording the changes in Institute human resources.
  • Planning, organizing, conducting and overseeing procurement of supplies and services and taking the inventory.

  • Organizing, conducting and overseeing mailing, security, janitorial and transportation services for the Institute.
  • Overseeing and ensuring compliance with established regulations and procedures.
  • Overseeing and ensuring compliance with University regulations and the directives issued by the Rector.
  • Coordinating with the Academic Secretary, the computer and telecommunications, electronics, workshop technicians, and with all heads of research departments.

  • Coordinating the work carried out by the budget, personnel, procurement and general services departments.
  • Acting as liaison between the Institute and the General Head Offices of Administrative Services, General Services, Budget and Personnel, by establishing direct contact.
  • Representing the Institute Director before external entities when involving administrative matters.
  • Inform on any changes made to the University Regulations on a timely manner upon reception of such information from the University General Counsel.
