At the IFUNAM students enrolled in many different programs do the research or work needed to produce their theses, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, under the guidance of experimental and theoretical researchers in the many and diverse fields of physics. Interested students may check available vacancies posted by our researchers or contact the researchers doing work in their field of interest directly.
Processing relating to the registration of their theses is carried. at their faculties, schools, postgraduate programs and universities, and is therefore different in each case. Check requirement at your facilities if you wish to carry out your research work at the IFUNAM.

Vacancies are available for students enrolled in different programs and universities to complete their social internship requirements by collaborating in the research carried out at the IFUNAM.
In particular, students from 26 of the UNAM programs may fulfill this requirement under the collaboration agreements entered by the Institute with their Faculties and Schools. These programs are the Physics, Biomedical Physics, Earth Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Metallurgical Chemical Engineering, Food Chemistry, Biomedical Systems Engineering, Engineering in Telecommunications, Systems and Electronics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Computing, Biology, Medicine, Administration, Library Science and Information Studies, Communication Sciences (Organizational and Journalism), Political Sciences and Public Administration, Communication and Journalism, Design and Visual Communication, Economy, Geohistory, Sociology.
Interested students may contact IFUNAM researchers who are working in their areas of interest directly, or contact the Coordinating Office. Processing for internship enrollment may vary from one institution to another. Please check directly at your home institution.
